Can you ALWAYS trust the displayed scale on commerical products?

I purchased this really nice looking 1940 Ford pickup at a train show, note it is labeled as 1/32 (1:32) scale. Thought it would look good in a Gauge One diorama. But it is too nice to weather or kit bash so I put it on the shelf for now. |
